Vivienne Vermes

Actress

Vivienne is a bilingual actress, working in English and French. Her film credits include roles in Les Trois Frères, Le Retour (Les Inconnus), Lol with Sophie Marceau, Les Profs 2 in which she played Queen Elizabeth II, and Pablo Larrain’s Jackie, with Natalie Portman.

Vivienne began her acting career in the National Youth Theatre, playing leading roles in the West End of London, at the Schiller Theatre in Berlin and on tour all over Europe.

In Paris, she co-founded the Maubel Theatre Company in Montmartre, directed Twelfth Night in the Jardin de Shakespeare, and acted in numerous plays in English and French, including Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads at the Théâtre des Déchargeurs.

She trained doing courses with Peter Brook at Les Bouffes du Nord and Monica Pagneux of the Théâtre de Complicité. Her TV credits include roles in the acclaimed series Chefs (France 2) and Une Famille Formidable (TF1).
